In 2015 I developed an application that began to explore the possibilities of using mobile devices to aid in awareness, maintenance, and self-care of mental health. How Are You? prompted users to enter some information each day to receive personalized self-care tips. When necessary, the user would be referred to professional help. I developed this application before some of the other mental health apps hit the market.
