The Bucksbaum Lecture recruits a high-impact speaker every year, but the budget beyond what is needed to pay the speaker is very low. Also, the photo that the speaker provides is generally low resolution. In the past we used a 3-color print for the poster, invite and program with no bleeds. Three colors were needed because the Bucksbuam donors designed the mark in three colors. I redesigned these materials to be two color and reversed the Bucksbaum mark out of the background. I made the image black and white to hopefully make up for the possibility of having a lower quality image. I also made the Drake mark more prominent, giving it a lot of clear space. I used blue so the materials would easily be identified as Drake. I solved the print cost issue by using the front of the invite design for the front of the program. I ganged the two jobs together and printed the poster at the same time to save on cost.
