It sounds like the perfect meetup/getaway for you and if you have even half as much fun as I had in Vegas last year, you will have a blast. There's just nothing quite like getting together with a bunch of "your people" and hanging out together. Plus there's something oddly self-affirming about traveling by yourself. Like, it's a pretty kick-ass feeling. If you can do something like that, you can do anything. Or, as I decided when I was in Atlanta, if you can eat by yourself at a fancy restaurant, THEN you can do anything. That was actually scarier than going to Vegas for the first time.
