Yeah, the walking foot will spare you a ton of agony. I have a Kenmore, so I can only get my supplies at *gulp* Sears, but in the old days I shopped at Nancy's Notions online and scored a bunch of cool things like a ruffler foot, bias binding foot, etc. And zig-zagging is NOT lazy.
